This year's East Bay Express Best of the Bay Voting is different! The focus is on "home grown" businesses.. and what better choice for a win than Slash, a veritable Berkeley institution, 31 years in the making?!

Slash opened at the corner of Russell Street and College Avenue in Berkeley on April 1, 1979, and we've been helping people find the perfect pair of jeans ever since!

We're making an official campaign to have everyone write us in as a new category "BEST PLACE TO BUY JEANS" - because, let's face it, there is NO other like us!

At the very end of the survey there is a place for you to write in a category, and we'd love to get as many people as we can to write us in!

Cheap Monday on Third Thursday!
 
Starting in June, participating Elmwood Merchants will be extending their store hours on the THIRD THURSDAY of the Month.

From 6 - 8 pm, join us and the other merchants of the Elmwood District for refreshments, local art and artists, and special promotions.

Four new styles for women: 1. "Alanis" Skinny in dark, clean denim. Incredible new US fit and sizing. Fits like a glove! 2. "Rosy" Skinny in medium wash. Edgier, skinnier, lower rise fit. Selling super fast! 3. "Mona Lisa" High Waisted Flare in super dark denim with tonal stitching for a clean finish. 4. "Amy" Straight Leg in a light wash and new lightweight 4-way stretch denim that retains its shape super well!
